The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. (John 1:14, The Message)
Peace to you. Just as the Father sent me, I send you." (John 20:21, The Message)
Much has been made of keeping Christ in Christmas.
So...
What is the true meaning of Christmas?
Can it simply be that God came to us?
Or...
Is it possible that there is more to it?
God became flesh and blood and lived among us.
He did this because He loved us and was making a way for us to be made right with Him again.
The birth we celebrate at Christmas is an incredible blessing.
It is truly a gift.
In Jesus we have been given much...
Great gifts mean great responsibilities; greater gifts, greater responsibilities! (Luke 12:48, The Message)
Almost
half of the world's population has never heard of Jesus; or if they have, what they know is incomplete.
Jesus came to us.
Are we willing to go to them?
As you celebrate the birth of Jesus this year, pause to remember those who have never heard.
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what your role is in taking the gift of Jesus to those who have never heard.
Take what you have been given and give it to others...
(2 Timothy 2:2)
Merry Christmas from Eric, Staci and Grant...
