Thanks to my friend Bob Roberts, Jr. for posting a link to this video.  Please watch it all the way through.  The ending is truly amazing.

What is it going to take for those of us who are followers of Jesus to love our Muslim cousins?  How can we ever be missional if we are driven by fear, and even hatred?  What is it going to take for us to be more concerned about the kingdom of God than we are about our own personal safety and freedoms?

We must love Muslims with a sacrificial, life-giving love.  Fear does not allow us to do this.  We are in Christ.  We must not walk in fear.  We must walk in love.

Thanks for sharing this video. I have been challenged recently at my church to build a relationship with someone who is different from me. You can see from this video how important it is that we be willing to reach out and love others from different races and cultures.

my first response to watching this video is gratitude. i will turn 50 this month and see that i consider myself pretty open and loving, i indeed have my head in the sand, full of ignorance and fear, when it comes to islam, muslims, the muslim faith, etc. i need to be challenged. thanks.
